| News - Jennifer Raises £130 for RNIB Abseiling off Humber Bridge |
|
|
 Jennifer Ayre, Senior Product Manager of the FisCal product suite, raised the fantastic sum of £130 for the Royal National Institute of the Blind by bravely abseiling off the Humber Bridge in Hull.
Jennifer was one of over 200 people to accept the RNIB abseil challenge which took place on a gloriously sunny day in September 2005. Between them, they raised a grand total of over £30,000 to support the work of the RNIB in the UK.
Jennifer said "Being a bit of a dare-devil I didn't need much encouragement when this opportunity was circulated at work. Eyesight is something many of us take for granted but few of us are aware of the number of people who have to live with uncorrectable sight loss. RNIB helps to improve quaity of life for those with sight problems so raising money for the charity was a bigger incentive". |

| "The abseil was quite good fun once I got over the hard part of climbing over the safety barrier! I'm looking for something a bit more daring to do next year but convincing my husband it is a good idea will be the hard part". |

| There are around two million people in the UK with sight problems and RNIB is the leading charity offering practical support and information to anyone with a sight problem. Every abseil helps fund vital work with blind and partially sighted adults. |
